So, is there really a SCIENCE to getting rich?

Well, three famous personal development superstars (all of them in the movie, "The Secret") - Jack Canfield, Bob Proctor and Michael Beckwith definitely think so.

That's what I keep hearing. People keep saying, they tried the Law Of Attraction. But for one reason or another, they couldn't make it work for them.

That's rather strange on the face of it. After all, what could be simpler than (1) Ask (2) Believe (3) Receive?

In Buddhist teachings, there is a critically important concept called Mindfulness. Put simply, it means that we carry a meditative state of awareness throughout our day, not simply when we are sitting (or walking) in meditation.

One major key to effective use of time is to have a fixed routine of activities that you stick to every day. I have found that since adopting this approach, I get far more done far more effectively. It may take a bit of experimentation to figure out what those activities are, and when specifically you create time to do them, but this procedure will benefit you tremendously in the long run.

Rather than ask, “Why did this happen to me?”, we do better to simply accept that it has happened, that crises happen to everyone and just get on with learning to deal with it and move on.

In any life, we can expect a smooth period where all goes well, followed by an unexpected crisis. You get over the crisis, and recover that smooth road… and then you get hit by another crisis. Sometimes, you get more than one at the same time.

One thing I've learned over the past year is the importance of not letting it all fall apart.

Once you are past your twenties, and even your thirties, and as aging takes its toll, there is a tendency to relax, go with the flow, and let it all hang out.

There are all kinds of seemingly good excuses for this. After all, isn't it natural to fall apart with age, bit by cruel bit? If the senior members of your family are carrying some spare baggage... well, then it must be genetics, right? And who can fight that?
