A Visionary Artist & His Thoughts…
I wanted to tell you about an Art and Spirituality blog, “The Portrait Of The Silence”. It’s by a gentleman called Tomas Karkalas, an Aspire To Wisdom ezine subscriber…
http://tomaskarkalas.noosworld.com/blog/
Tomas is a spiritual artist from Lithuania. He paints his visions in dynamic colors, and his work really does seem to come from another altogether different realm of the imagination. In fact, I once dubbed him “the Van Gogh of the Spirit”, which he quite likes!
Anyway, I think his Art is very fine, as the thoughts he expresses on his blog each day are interesting. Tomas is something of a philosopher of life, and he expresses those thoughts on his blog. At present though, his blog is relatively new, and he is somewhat lamenting of the lack of feedback he has received to his writings there!
So, would you please do me a favor and head over to his blog, read and explore it, and post some feedback comments to some of his thoughts? That way, he will feel he is getting some appreciation at last! (Please note that a lot of his posts are now in the Archive section, so just click the “Archive” link on the right-hand menu to see the rest of them)……

I should add that, in typical artistic tradition, Tomas Karkalas is struggling somewhat financially. And some time back, he suffered a serious head injury which sometimes impairs his mental functioning, and continues to challenge him on a regular basis.
Yet, despite all this, he continues to paint and express his visions beautifully and courageously. You will see a link to his main website on the right-hand menu of the blog, marked “Transformational Art Of Tomas Karkalas”, and I strongly recommend you to head on over and take a look. He also has a second blog called Captain’s Bridge, where he shows more of his work - the link is in the same right-hand menu.
Anyway, I think Tomas would just value a bit of appreciation for his writings and his Art, and he definitely deserves it. If you have a moment, please do make him happy today!
I’m not making a cent out of this recommendation. Like I say, Tomas is a subscriber of ATW who came to my attention recently, and I just think his Art work and his thoughts should just be known to a wider circle of people.
Best Wishes,
Asoka Selvarajah
