What's New at Mystic Visions Website? Website Update
Many new discussions took place at the forums. There is
a stimulating debate going on regarding the war in Iraq.
You can read it, and similar fascinating discussions at:
I'm not discussing the prevailing news at present in this ezine.
Well, there are enough words flying around, don't you think? I
prefer to offer something more positive for your future. Yes. I may
write something about it all for next month's issue. But not now.
Anyway, I've come out of my temporary "retirement" to write the
first article of this issue. The topic arises from the fact that
sometimes I find myself immersed in activity, whilst losing focus
on what I am doing it all for in the first place. So, I hope the
article strikes a useful chord for you too.
The second article is called "How To Turn Your Ideas Into Extreme
Wealth" by Stuart Goldsmith; the gentleman I introduced you to in
last month's editorial. This piece offers some excellent
hard-hitting advice for what it takes to turn ideas into riches.
I hope you enjoy this month's issue and welcome your comments, as
ever.

All the personal growth literature tells us we should have
goals to work on, affirmations to repeat, and that we should be
constantly visualizing our future each day. All well and good.
So...
If that's true, then why are most people in exactly the same
place after all this personal growth stuff as they were before
they started?
The reason comes down to an overall lack of life vision. In
other words, there is no master plan for life. What is the point
of setting goals, or working on affirmations, if you have no idea
where the thrust of your life is headed in the first place? In
other words, what are you here on this Earth to do? WHY are you
working towards these goals (if you have any)?
Most people do not have any answers to these basic questions. Ask
a small child, and you're quite likely to get an answer to the
question, "What do you want to be when you grow up?". However, if
you ask an adult a similar question, such as, "Where would you
like to be in 10 years time, and what would you like to be
doing?", you are likely to be greeted by silence...
Aren't you?!...
So, how can we have given up on our dreams to this extent? Part
of the answer lies in childhood. Whether at school or at home,
the need to be "realistic" and "stop daydreaming" was hammered
into each of us again and again. So effective was this mental
conditioning that most of can no longer figure out WHY we have no
idea what our dreams are! We have been so conditioned from the
outside, and have compromised so often on the inside, that there
is no dreaming power left. That which is nurtured grows. That
which is neglected withers and dies.
Instead, we find ourselves in a place we never planned to be in.
Most of us simply drifted there, without plan or design. Then,
from that position, we try to create goals and dreams that the
critical mind regards as "appropriate" or "possible". However,
because these goals are not true to our hearts, they do not
motivate us, or fill us with any passion to achieve them.
Goals, and all the rest of it, do no good if you have nowhere
specific you are heading to. You really need to get your head
above day-to-day concerns to determine what the whole point of
your goals is.
Michael Gerber, author of "The E-Myth" describes a similar
situation in the world of business. It seems that a lot of people
become business entrepreneurs, mainly from a desire to escape the
slavery of the 9 to 5 routine, and be free of the boss. The only
problem is that, whilst these people may be good "technicians",
this does not necessarily guarantee success in their own
business. Instead, many find themselves "trapped" in their dream,
to the point where they finally hate it, and realize that this
was not what they really wanted anyhow.
Look at it another way. Hollywood typically spends over $100
million on a blockbuster movie. With these figures at stake,
directors cannot afford to mentally drift. Films made these days
are storyboarded first; drawings (or even animations), are
created for every single shot in every single scene. Everything
is visualized with crystal clarity before filming even begins. By
contrast, imagine the sort of movies we would be watching if
directors went about their craft the way we do our lives!
Without a clear vision of where we are heading, we can be
terribly active achieving goals that take us nowhere specific.
Indeed, all this activity can serve as a good excuse for not
raising our heads high enough to see where we are actually
going. Or NOT going!
So, what can you do? The answer is, develop a vision, as clearly
as possible, for what your life is about, and where you are
heading. What is your "major definite purpose", as Napoleon Hill
termed it? What are you here to do?
If you do not know the answer to this question, this is the first
goal you should set; to find out. You must develop a mental image
of your desired future, and develop it so clearly that you can
see it, smell it, taste it and touch it. Then, keep that vision
before you often each day, and use it to fuel your goal creation.
Take time to ponder your dreams. Give yourself a regular period
of time each day to do this, especially if you have no clear
vision of them at present. This process may take time and cannot
be hurried, because you are reactivating faculties that have been
long dormant. Without this clear vision, any other goals and
affirmations you develop are virtually as good as useless. Yes,
they may take you forward a bit. But in which direction, and for
what purpose? Without an overall life vision, you really have no
idea.
You should ask yourself questions about all aspects of your life.
Where do you want to be financially, spiritually, in
relationships, healthwise, and so on? Gradually let the vision
develop as you relax and take time to elicit it from deep within
you. You may wish to write it down as it emerges.
Try not to judge or censor. That will only shut down the creative
process. Let it be okay to think of the ridiculous, because
nothing is as ridiculous as it may seem. People have taken up
mountaineering at the age of sixty five. There was a time when
Van Gogh had to learn to draw, and he was already an adult at the
time!
Hence, be gentle with yourself, but retain the belief that much
is possible if you have faith. It may takes days, weeks or even
months.
However
, if you make developing a life vision your
primary goal, then all others will fall into place, and you will
find the infinite inner energy with which to accomplish them.

Sculptor 3 is a powerful, innovative software program for
working with affirmations - the positive statements you repeat to
yourself to transform your consciousness.
Sculptor allows you to create your own affirmations, and also
view all affirmations as subliminals flashing rapidly onto the
screen, bypassing the conscious mental censor and entering
directly into the subconscious mind. However, if you are not
comfortable with subliminals, they can easily be turned off.
There is a 12-day sequence built into Sculptor, which really
helps you to work with a given affirmation in depth to drive it
deep into your being. You are required to read it, retype it, and
even speak it out as you work with it. There are also visual
symbols employed to help you to anchor and trigger your inner
affirmations every time you see an ordinary object of your
choice, e.g. a clock or a pen, etc. This is a truly brilliant
idea.
Sculptor gives you various assignments to do, in order to develop
your life vision and your goals. There are always many tips and
techniques for working deeper with affirmations and making them
manifest rapidly in your life. Sculptor is graphically rich, with
many amusing cartoons. One of the most impressive benefits is the
sheer depth of the tutorials and coaching provided. They
guarantee you get the very most from working with the program.
You also get inundated with excellent free bonuses that are worth
the price of your investment, all by themselves. To mention just
one: the audio version of the classic Wallace D. Wattles book,
"The Science Of Getting Rich", enables you to listen to this
important teaching every single day as you work at your computer,
until it becomes imbedded in your consciousness. However, that is
not the only bonus. There are many others; each one truly excellent.
Overall, I highly recommend Sculptor 3 as one of the best tools
for working with affirmations to effect inner change available
today. It is hard to find another tool that provides so many
different ways to work with affirmations in one place. Check it
out for yourself today...
To become a wealthy man or woman, you must come up with an
original, creative idea for a product or service which you
believe the public will want to buy from you. Then you must put
in the hours to research and test this idea. If it looks no good,
you must create another idea until you find a winner.
The second way is to locate a hot, fresh idea which is working
somewhere right now (say in another country) and then to recreate
the idea in your own territory, obviously without plagiarising
somebody else's work. E.g. if you hear that a new premium rate
telephone line on Irritable Bowel Syndrome is taking 19,000 calls
a day in the USA, this is an idea you could immediately pick up
and run with in the UK. In other words, you wait for someone else
to find a winner, then jump quickly onto the bandwagon.
When you have found a winner, then you must pursue your idea and
dream with passion, and not some wimpish and feeble 'attempt.'
This is called 'paying the price.' The price is action and
sometimes a little money. If you are broke, then you must chose
an idea which doesn't take a lot of money.
If you don't feel passionate about your idea, then it's not for
you. How do you think you're going to succeed at something you
feel lukewarm about? What will drag you out of bed on those cold
winter mornings? What will give you the courage to face those
waves of problems we discussed? What will keep you fighting on
when all about you is turning to ashes and you are filled with
hopeless despair? Your lukewarm desire to 'have a go'? I don't
think so!
An idea without action is almost worthless. So I would not try to
go down the route of thinking up 'inventions' which you can sell
to Black and Decker, etc. Only very rarely do such ideas get
taken up, and even then you would not make a fortune. Instead,
your idea should be one that you can operate and reap the rewards
from. The more original the better, otherwise you are just
picking over the bones of somebody else's idea, and you will not
become wealthy.
Even when you jump onto a new bandwagon, you still need creative
energy to transform that idea into something which will work in
your area. There is little money to be made when you are tenth
out of fifty in the marketplace, with nothing to distinguish your
product or service from that of your competitors.
When I tell people this stark truth during consultations, they
often complain: "I don't have any ideas." "What can I do? I'm not
really sure." "I've tried for ages to think of something, but I
just come up with a blank." "Help me! Have you got any original
ideas you don't want and which you can pass on to me?"
I know it's hard to be in this position - remember I was there
too. Yes, it seems difficult; impossible sometimes, but this is
what will mark you out as a winner if you can pass this
initiation test.
Please let me be absolutely clear on this and give you the stark
truth if you are also tempted to complain about not having any
ideas.
You're not creative? You've never had an original thought in your
life? You've tried a couple of times to think of something new,
but given up? Well I have some very bad news for you. You will
never be wealthy unless you win the lottery or get lucky in some
other way. You will always be poor, struggling along with the
masses, scarcely able to pay your way and probably in debt until
the day you die. At the very best you will eke-out survival in a
paid job, or rake over the dead ashes of somebody else's dream,
hoping to raise the Phoenix, but the bird will have long since
flown away.
I am sorry if I sound a little harsh, but I believe quite
strongly that you would rather have the truth from me, bitter
though it is, than to be fed more lies and distortions.
Reminder: These comments only apply to getting rich. It's okay
not to want to be rich - really, it is - in which case this
doesn't apply.
Wealth belongs to creative people alone. There is only one way to
get honestly wealthy. Persuade lots and lots of people to give
you their money. You can either do this at the point of a gun
(dishonest), or you can offer them something which makes them
give it to you voluntarily - to trade with you.
Now if you cannot muster the energy to come up with your own
idea, or you think that you are 'not creative,' then guess what?
- you pick up somebody else's fifth-hand idea and try to run
that. Guess what again? Only a few people hand you their money,
the rest trade with the hundreds of others who are all trying to
run the same idea and you don't get rich! You just about make a
living. This is not what you want, I hope.
Now if you take action and create something original and new,
suddenly you're the only supplier. Thousands or millions of
people flock to willingly exchange their money for your product
or service and you become wealthy. More importantly, you become
guiltlessly wealthy - you earned it through your creative
endeavours .
